Changes may not be savable - Design is located in another team - but design is only in one team

I'm getting this message for all my designs.

Changes may not be savable - [design name]
Design is located in another team. You may not be able to save changes you make to this design.

Continue editing [design name]?

The problem is that I only have one team (the one that Autodesk compelled me to do, even if I didn't need one), and my designs can't be located in any other team. I already cleared the cache as per documentation.

Somehow I don't think I'm the admin of my own team, but I can't find for the love of everything where do you manage your team. Is there an updated link where I can just go and check my team?

Does anybody know how to fix this?

I am writing you on the process of setting your Team as the active team and then checking it to be sure you are the Owner (Administrator) of it.  I have no idea about your file saving issue as I am not looking at your system.

I'm ADMIN and owner, thanks!

The process to get to this info is extremely byzantine, without you I would have never found it.

Now, does somebody have any idea on how to fix the other problem?

If I were you, I would do this.  I would make sure I have the correct Team selected, then I would open my model, go to File Menu and choose Save As.  I would create a folder, if you desire, and then save it to the data panel.  Close your model and open up the one you just created with the Save As command.  This will give you a good point to move on with your design.

By the way, you are responding to yourself with your Forum posts.  This is because you are selecting the Quick Reply icon instead of the Reply icon on the post you are responding to.

I've had the same issue today.  I was also missing lots of projects from the data panel, even though designs from the missing projects showed in My Recent Data.  It resolved itself when I turned off my VPN and restarted Fusion 360 and left the VPN off.  All seems to be well now.  Missing projects have returned and can save designs

Hope this helps.

On another computer everything worked perfectly, so I guess my installation on this computer is broken.

I nuked everything and reinstalled to no avail, it keeps on saying it on this computer.

Well by changing from [team name] to [my name] in top left corner, everything went back to normal and can do everything.

I don't really understand this feature at all, and I develop software for a living.

Welp

I know this is already answered, in a way, But I wanted to contribute some information, partially because this happens to be a good bit, and I always forget why or how to fix.

1. I tend to leave F360 open on my laptop when I close it.

2. This interrupts Fusion's connection to the server.

3. I think if I attempt to save while offline, or do work offline, it saves it under a generic team.

4. When I hop back online, And try to save as my normal team, it can't reconcile the offline team with the newly online team.

5. doing the save-as trick gets me past the save block, then rebooting F360 gets everyone back in the same team.

6. sadly, the save-as creates a new version number. I think the design history timeline stays intact, but I'm not sure how else that might affect the design history.
