If I modify a sheet metal rule (for example, exemption from angular to round) the change is not adopted. It only changes the name of the new sheet metal rule. The overwriting of a sheet metal rule also has no effect.

I'm trying to edit the sheet metal rule to optimize the corners for my manufacturing processes.

Your sheet metal component is not created in a way that is required for the sheet metal rules to be applied.  You have created individual vertical flanges instead of the two flanges using the same command so the rules are not applied and cannot be edited that affect the corner conditions.
