CFD Tool available for Hobby User?

Hello,

In relation to Fusion360 Simulation Workspace -> Design Simplification.

I noticed that in Tutorials they have enabled a third option "CFD Tool" (red circle in the photo)

I would like to know how I can enable that option. It is for CFD analysis.

I am a hobby user, not a subscriber.

Thank you!

Hi,

Thanks for posting.

All Simulation commands are available only for paying or educational customers.

Here's a comparison between free features and paid.

https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/personal

In your screenshot, if that's your own account, you have an educational account. You should have access to all the features and tools.

Perhaps you need to enable it in preferences.

Did that help?

Hello i activate the function but it doesnt work.

I am wondering if it is because a paysubscription is needed.

Great! Sounds like you are up and running now, you can use the two new simulation types.
