cant generate toolpath for lathe on a dished front feature

I am trying to generate a good toolpath for a feature on the face of a part I have to machine.

The OD of the part is 9.1"  starting at 7" the face has a tapered recess of .058" ending at a center drilled hole.

I was able to generate a problematic toolpath using a CNMG tool and using tons of passes to thin the chip.  When I switched to a 17.5deg offset DNMG tool  I lose the toolpath.

Can someone help me please.

It seems like a ton of work around especially in the lathe area.

Yes, I find the turning part of Fusion quite frustrating as well. Feels like I'm arm wrestling an octopus at times!

Is the ticket for the tool setup problem?

Any thoughts on the problem with machining from back to front, post #19?

Thanks Mark

@HughesTooling yes, post 19 is what I created the ticket for. I'll run the tool issue with the product management team.

Thanks,

@HughesTooling Correction: I already ran the issue through our product manager and I'll create a ticket for that as well.

@HughesToolingdid develop a work around that I applied and was able to manufacture the part.  I opted to run the tool set-up that generated a collision warning.  It worked but it aged me.

@HughesTooling @tgford58 The Q holder issue has been fixed in the update that went out a few hours ago.
