Cant fix spacing issues with Text on a Path

Earlier this year I made a logo for a fellow staff member at our school. After several months we were revisiting that project and when I loaded my save I noticed the spacing was wonky with several letters. "The Vintage Wisk" text turned into "the V   intag e  W  isk". (I forgot the "h" in whisk in the original) I had extruded the original so I know it use to work and when I use a text box it also works properly. I am attaching a f3d file which I hope is the proper protocol for asking for help.

As a secondary question what is a good way to import parts of one saved file to another project? Googling it I have been using "Insert derived" but that does weird things like locking edits on sketches, some times I can edit stuff, sometimes I cant. Is there a better way?

One bad thing about models that contain text, if the one opening the model does not have the same text font installed, it will open the model in a different default font.  That is what is happening here.  If you can supply the font you used in your model, then someone may be able to help.

As far as you second question.  If you have a Component in one model and you want to save it into another there are three easy ways depending on your needs.

  1. Select the Component in the Browser and right click.  In the context menu chose Copy.  Go to a new model and right click in the Design Background and select Paste New from the context menu
  2. Select the Component in the Browser and right click.  Select Save Copy As from the context menu and select the new model file you want to save it to.  You can then open the file and it will contain your copy.
  3. Open and save a new model.  Open your Data Panel and right click on any file you want, a single component or an assembly and select Insert into Current Design from the context menu.

There are other ways but surely one of these will work for you.  I will remind you the first two I mentioned require you to select a Component to copy not a Body.
