Cant extrude in very specific area

"Error: Tool body creation failed"

I have a couple of rectangular bars going through a rectangle. I added an svg to the center, some text on top and bottom and it extruded. I went back in history to change the size of the bars and when i put history back all of a sudden the upper portion of extruded text went away and if i try to re do it manually i get the above error... if i type upside down not facing the same way as the other text it works... but just not the same way the other text was..

i erased the sketched text and even created a new sketch..same issue... it doesnt allow me to extrude up or down in that area... i tried merging the rectangle and cross patters...nothing...

i'm so tired of these bugs...my 5 minute projects always take an hour because of dumb things like this -_-

please help.

p.s. the new layout is horrible.

I am on a new better computer and need to find the screencast software again..

File >Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here.

It sounds to me like you got confused about parent/child feature history relationships and in your attempt to navigate around this - corrupted the geometry.

It would have been best to have the original problem to demonstrate technique, but let’s see what you have now.

I fixed it... I literally just changed the font to something other than "hobo std" (horrible name btw). Then everything works. There area few fonts that cause this issue and other issues that pop up errors that don't allow you to extrude.

I literally only changed the font and now everything works. I tried 5 different fonts and all work fine. Just the 2 I chose before had this issue.
