Cannot project sketch onto surface

I have done this in the past, though several versions ago now.  I have gone back and watched tutorials, and I can't figure out how to make this work.  Am I doing this wrong?

Thanks

Hello @ryborg

Thank you for posting the issue. Unfortunately, I am not able to reproduce the issue with the attached file in latest production build.

May I know, the version of Fusion you are working with?

Thank you,

Project tool, takes from an existing sketch, and brings items to the current sketch.

You need 2 sketches to get it done, source sketch (B) is last sketch in the timeline,

make a destination sketch (C), you need to be editing in your case a 3rd sketch (C),

to transfer (Project Sketch B) into the current sketch (C).

Might help...

Thanks @davebYYPCU for catching that! Yes, you will need another sketch downstream to get the current sketch projected onto the surface.

Thank you,

Well, I got it working by creating a new sketch and using the project feature from there.  I'm starting to get comfortable with that..  even though it felt counter intuitive at first.  I'm posting a video here, hoping to help others who might run into this.
