Cannot join mirrored bodies.

I am trying to join two bodies, they were mirrored off each other and I cant combine them. An error comes up says “failed to join Boolean bodies.”

The forum users cannot do much to help without your model.  Please attach it.  If you do not know how, open the model, go to File ->Export to your hard drive.  The attach it to your forum question using the Attachment section located below the Details section where you type your message.
