Cannot create a New Project

I downloaded the Hobbyist version of Fusion 360 on 25 Nov (5 days ago).  Just this afternoon I have not been able to create a New Project.  I get a "Operation Failed" message and then it all disappears.

 

I've read a number of postings on this and, although the error message is different, it seems to be a glitch that requires some tech support to reset something.

 

Could someone please explain exactly why this happens and also fix my issue.

Help Please.

Saturday, Sunday, Monday... still cannot create a new project.

still get same error message.

Karina,

Thank you for the reply but I've seen you recommend this to others on older posts, and I've read it on Saturday.

It has been well past 24 hours .... more like 192 hours.

Your suggested reading states the program does not recognise a valid license.

Why might that be?

It worked fine earlier in the week.

I do not get a Usage Limit Exceeded notification.

I am not interested in Team Hub.

Why might the program not be work properly?

What needs to be done to make it work as intended?

Hi @4alanoneill 

 

Converting to a Team hub is the solution here. We are recommending folks switch over to Team anyway, so now would be a good time to do it.

Here is a link to the Fusion Team Hub Onboarding page. I recommend hopping over there and converting your personal hub to a Team.

Thank you.  I gave it a try after looking at more YouTube videos.

I admit I did not appreciate what Fusion Team meant/was.

It is working now from the Team Hub... but not via the Data Panel which I suppose is what is now intended.

Hi @4alanoneill 

You can switch to the Team hub in Fusion by clicking your name in the top right, then selecting Switch Team.

You can set your Team as your default hub from the web, under screencasts.
