Can the creating drawing dialog remember the last selections?

I design scale furniture in Fusion360 and then create part drawings that are then exported to pdf files which I use in VCarve Desktop to create CNC cutting paths. When I create a drawing from a component it always defaults to "Create New" and when I select an existing drawing, then it defaults to "Create New Sheet". This adds two extra mouse clicks for each part I want to add to the drawing and when I have dozens of parts to add it can get tedious. Can we get the Create Drawing dialog to remember the last selections so that the most recent choice of drawing and sheet can come up as the default? In the long run this would save me a lot of time.

Hi @doodlerYRT6X

Thanks for sharing this with us. I can see where this would become frustrating.

This is something that I'll discuss with the team.

Hi @doodlerYRT6X

I met with our UX designer this morning, and we discussed the current behaviour and why it works the way it does. We spent some time looking at your requested workflow. Although this change might seem simple, when we took a deeper look at all the dependencies and adjacent workflows, our main concern is one of performance. Particularly for customers that have large datasets and assemblies that have many x-refs. The dialogue could become quite slow, as we would need to pull all the relationship data for the component and any drawings related to it.

For now, my best suggestion is to have a look at Smart Templates

Smart Templates will create a drawing for each component in your top level model.

I hope this is helpful

Well I looked at the "Smart Templates" and it won't work for what I'm doing. I'm basically creating simple drawings of each part on a sheet the actual size to import into VCarve Desktop through a PDF like the one I'm attaching. I was just hoping the create drawing dialog could simply remember the last selections when you called it up.
