Can't Update, re-Installation failes because of missing Data

"[...]No such File or Directory[...]". Wanted to Update Fusion. The Update always stopped at around 14%. When trying to update through the Installer and later trying to reinstall the error occurs. How can I fix this?

Hi @dominic_siepmannSP4KD ,

 

Looks like the long username is causing the problem.

Can you please check by changing the registry solves the problem?

 

  1. Go to windows registry editor. [Windows - Run - regedit]

  2. Navigate to FileSystem and change value from 0 to 1

I see the same problem, your username is long "default.DESKTOP-O46PM2U"
We are fixing the bug and we will provide an update ASAP.

For now please follow below workaround.

  1. Go to windows registry editor. [Windows - Run - regedit]

  2. Navigate to FileSystem and change value from 0 to 1
