I'm making some spokes between two circular features. The constraints were a big mess at first, perhaps due to lots of sketches. Automate/Autoconstrain got most of the things working, but when I want to extrude the spokes out of the plane, the profile selections are odd:
The middle pic looks like I'm off to a good start, but the right hand one is not what I want.
The bottom of the dome is in the same plane as the top of the central tube. The spokes or ribs hold up the dome and I extruded them symetrically so that each end of the spoke would have some contact with the part it's attached to.
Here is a cross section thru the spokes (I added some meat to the tube extrusion so there would something thicker than a plane for the section to cut through.
I don't know why one of the spokes is missing some of the heavy black line. Sometimes, it would all be solid.
I want to make the spokes thinner, without the wide base at the center. I could not find a way to de-select the triangles at the base.
