Can't select object when trying to mirror Mesh Body

I'm trying to mirror a Mesh Body object, and cannot select the object. Please refer screen shot attached. I have tried to select the Body in the Browser and Canvas without success. You can see from the screen shot that the object type field is missing in the mirror dialog, and doesn't match the help instructions. 

Is this a misfunctioning feature in the Trial version ? If so I'm totally frustrated after many hours of investigation and unlikely to upgrade for buggy software. Please assist if possible.

I've attached the export and screenshots.

Hi,

1.  convert to Brep (Solid) > Mirror

2. create component from body > Mirror component

It may still be newbie issues, although I can't get solution (1) working, as the selection issue remains for the convert operation. Solution (2) worked so I was able to progress to the next challenge.
