Can't rotate, pan or zoom camera view without fusion freezing

Starting yesterday afternoon I cannot work on any fusion projects. anytime I attempt to rotate my camera fusion locks up. Any view movement - Pan, or zoom included does this.

I though I had a corrupted file, but this is happening with any file I use.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I'm using the personal version.

Are you using a 3DConnection device?

If yes, does the behavior persist if unplugged?

If yes, plug back in and Calibrate.

@TheCADWhisperer , nope, just a standard mouse.

I'm going to attempt uninstalling and reinstalling fusion to see if that helps.

probably wont', but something to try.

Just reinstalled and did not fix it.

And it is not just pan, zoon, rotate, but any time I click a button.

I tried a new file and made a few boxes and those seem to work fine.

Can you File>Export a *.f3d file that exhibits slow behavior to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

@TheCADWhisperer , yeah, here you go.

Hopefully you can find something.

I was working on the file yesterday morning with no problems (I have had no problems to think of any time I worked in fusion). Then yesterday afternoon when I picked it back up I couldn't do anything.

I tried again this morning with this file and a few other randomly picked one and same issue.

but if I create a new file and build objects it is fine.

file size doesn't seem to matter either.

Are you running free personal license

or

are you running paid commercial license.

Does the issue occur in Model Workspace, or does the issue occur only in Manufacture?

Are there any issues indicated in yellow highlight?

@TheCADWhisperer  just realized you had more questions in your last post.

It does not matter whether I'm in design or manufacture.

In manufacturing there are yellow yield icons by the toolpaths. General FYI kind of thing.

I did notice something else that may or may not be related. Ever since the changes in the personal version I did not have a save/save as option. Just export. It would not even warn me if I was closing the file and if I wanted to save.

After I re-installed it did ask if I wanted to save or close without saving. - just noting this if it has relevance.

OK, another update.

I have checked additional files that I have stored on my hard drive and they are all doing the same thing.

So I decided to redo my latest file.

Everything is modeled in another program so fortunately it is only the tool pathing that I'm redoing.

I open the step file and everything is working smoothly.  I can pan, zoon, rotate, use any of the tools etc. I start my tool pathing and everything still works. I get to a certain point that I should save - this time I actually have a save option - and save it. Then....the same issue. I can no longer do anything! anytime I try to click a tool, pan, rotate, zoom, I mean anything, fusion freezes up for 10 or more seconds then appears to be OK. Try and do anything it freezes freezes up again.

I did get some pop up messages about fusion being offline - not sure if it is related.

this is getting really frustrating. I get that I'm using the free version, but it is personals stuff and I'd like to actually be able to use it.

any ideas of what happened between Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon that starting to make thing go haywire?

Does anyone know if there was an update that is causing issues?

I think I got it.

Looks like somehow fusion go messed up.

I had to follow the manual clean uninstall instruction from Autodesk and then re-install.

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-t...

seems to be working now.
