can't pick distance handle with mouse in section analysis

When setting up a section analysis, I try to click on the distance arrow to drag the plane, but when I click, the angle handle is selected.  I tab back to the distance arrow, but when I click, the selection goes back to the angle.  It seems the distance arrow is somehow 'behind' the angle handles.  Any suggestion is appreciated.

Gunther, I selected DirectX 11 and that resolved the issue.  Thanks so much for your help!
