Can't make any documents editable.

As the Title says. I can not change any of my Documents to Editable. It worked yesterday when I first learned of the changed and was trying it out. Now today it does not work. Yesterday I had left at least one maybe two as editable. Then I closed the program and turned off my computer. Now today those two I was working on are Red Only and the counter for how many I can have says 1 of 10. The 1 I think is the un-started un-saved document that appears open when you start up Fusion360. Every single one of my documents say Read Only and when I use the link to open and view just my Editable Documents it just sits there with the Refresh Icon spinning. Any idea as to why I can not change any of my documents to Editable now? Is something wrong on your end like with the servers that hold our documents, to which I can not change their status? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The symptoms you're seeing suggest some type of network or server issue, so we can work out what is happening, could you collect diagnostic log files from Fusion and share them here or with me at matt.pooley@autodesk.com.

You can generate logs through the Help menu, under the option 'Support and Diagnostics -> Diagnostic Log Files'.

I'm having the same problem on a freshly-installed copy of F360. All documents are marked read-only. When I try to change to editable, the refresh icon in the upper-left just keeps spinning. Pretty sure it's not a network problem. I will send my logs to you, @matt.pooley

Same exact problem as VectorRoll. Items made editable yesterday show as read only today but they still allow me to edit them. I am unable to turn any new items to editable or to turn the previous editable item back to read only. The editable option is not highlighted although the read only is highlighted.

Same problem as @brotherdustautodesk, on a newly installed Fusion 360, Feb-04-2021. All Documents in "Editable Documents" list are "Read-Only" by default and unable to change them to "Editable".

While we're looking into this issue, would you mind trying something for us, please?

1. In Fusion, go to the "File" menu pull down and go to "View > Show Text Commands" to display the text command input window.  That brings up an input window at the bottom of Fusion.  (If you see "Hide" instead, you are already showing this.)
2. In that input window, look to the far bottom right side and ensure the selector is set to "Txt".
3. In the "Type Text Commands Here" field at the bottom, type:
   DataPanel.Reload
   Then press "Enter".  If this command executes correctly you should see a message similar to "DataPanel URL : file:///c:/Users/.../data_view_rel.html" confirming that the reload executed.

After running that, does your issue get better or stay the same?

You should be able to use this text command as a workaround while we deliver a fix: DataPanel.url /default

FYI I have the same problem, the text cmd suggested above fixed the issue.

However, I need to redo the text command on every restart of the program, or nothing shows as editable

I was having problems that the refresh wouldn't stop refreshing and all my files were in there and all said read only. I typed in DataPanel.Reload like what was suggested above and now everything is right. Thanks again.

A few days since last DataPanel.reload, it has just happened again.

I was able to resolve the issue by logging out completely, restarting Fusion, and logging back in. The number of files editable updated to 0/10

I had the same issue folks are documenting above.  Even though the model was marked as read only, I was able to edit it.  That model was previously editable.  Decided to add this because it doesn't appear to be documented.  Waiting for the definitive fix......

None of my documents are showing as editable in the file browser, although the display in the upper right says 4 of 10. So I have no way of knowing which documents are the 4 editable ones. Plus, the Text Commands field does not accept input - the cursor cannot be set in that field.

Logging out and back in fixed the Editable display in the data panel for now but I still can't enter text in the Text Commands field.

I have an 'editable document' that shows up in the program but there is no corresponding document in the web storage. I have run the DataPanel.Reload several times. It fixed an earlier problem but not this. Any suggestions? Thx.
