Can't import DXF files into scetch

Since some days I can not import any DXF file into fusion. It let me select the plane and the file, but than it stops without any warning or other message. It works all fine if I select svg files, but it is not working with DXF. The DXF files can be opened in other appications, there all work well. What is the problem???DXF-Import.JPG

Have you got a DXF file you can share here?

The file does import fine for me so definitely something wrong with your install. Have you tried restarting Fusion and a reboot of your computer? If you're stuck you could import by uploading using the data panel.

Another way you can try is just use the Open option on the file menu.

I'm not sure what open means, cause there is nothing to open a document (or I don't kow how). But I uploaded the DXF and that works...DXF-Import_2.JPG

Open is on the file menu and a bit quicker than importing.

Thanks for the hint, but this is not available in my version?! The only options that I have is "New design", "new design from sketch", "new sketch"....there is no option for poening a file. Can I switch in on somewhere in the options menu ? I nomaly use the old UI but switched for testing now to new UI, but now changes in the options....dxf3.jpg

The version you have is about a month out of date are you using Fusion offline so it can't update? Link to 28th November What's New. There have been a couple more updates since then as well.

Thanks for that info. It seems that Fusion is not updating by itself. I'm working online all the time, but since end of october I recieved no updates. At this time I had a problem during an update with the virus scanner. It occupies the Fusion360.exe so I had to reinstall fusion (without removing It comletely before). Maybe this causes the problem? How to solve it? Can I force Fusion to update? Or is it better to make a clean reinstall?Version.jpgOnline.jpg

So....I made a clean reinstall - and now works all fine again. I can now import the DXF as it should work. Version.JPGVirus_Fusion.JPGIt seems that the antivirus destroyed something in the installation and the quick reinstall did not fix it. Thanks to all for the support.
