Can't extrude imported DXF (Pretty sure it's not open)

Hello

I was sent a DXF that i imported into Fusion 360 but i can't extrude it, i looked all the way around it and i can't see any gaps, i'm quite new to Fusion so i don't know how to solve the problem.

I can Push/pull it but it only does the lines and not the entire piece, it's like it's not treating it as a solid shape.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Ah good find!

Can i ask how you found that so quickly, just a good eye or is there some indicators that help you locate it?

Thank you

If this were my design - I would recreate the sketch using tangent curves rather than use the short line segments.

Yeah i think that is the best solution, It's hard to pick out the old segmented layer underneath when you lay the curves on top though.

Is there an easier way to delete them without deleting the new curve you laid on top of them?

Thanks

The new sketch should be on a New Sketch.

That's what i thought but the Tangent Arc is not picking up on the nodes of the original sketch (Imported DXF) making it hard to draw the news curves.

What is this part?

What is the source of the original geometry?

I thought that we had already established that it is rubbish.

See Attached - I'll let you finish it up as I have no idea about Design Intent or Manufacturing Tolerance for this design.

Hi,

It is a vent for my race car i'm designing, the tolerances are all open as it's a prototype.

Thanks for sending the file over, that helps with visualizing the solution.
