Can't enter Text missing controls

I can't seem to add text to a sketch. The text entry popup doesn't populate.  I can select the area where the text is to be entered but don't get any controls to enter text, height, angle or font etc. Any ideas?

Dispite having re-started Fusion 360 and the PC several times this morning. This afternoon the missing fields have come back. Don't know where they have been for the last few hours or what I did to get them to return.
