can't download software

I had 360 installed on a older machine. That unit died. Now I'm trying to install it again. However, it says I already have it. Nothing on my new machine and apparently no way to get beyond this blockage. I have virus protection turned off, still nothing comes thru. 2 days ago I tried, said they would send a "SMS" to my land line-a digital code. However, our phone was not active (wife napping). And since then-nothing. I tried tech support and was told since it is free (hobbyist), that the only support is thru the forum. I just need to get the d/l. Most everything else I'm able to figure out or learn from other users. Any help available here?

Looks like they are restricting to one machine at a time. I was hoping, with a startup license, that I could install one in my office computer for creative drawing of plans and one in my shop computer for tweaking plans to actually work on a CNC machine.

I have the exact same issue as you - had it on old computer, now trying to install on a new one. Just want a download link! I wonder if its case of having to create a new account?

The online chat support was not very helpful just pointed me here.

Actually, in my case, I was able to resolve my multiple install problem by re-qualifying my startup license. Once I did that on my office PC, my shop PC was able to download Fusion 360.

Autodesk Fusion 360 can be installed on multiple machines using the same user account.  As you can see, I am on the download page, "logged in" and ready to download the application.  I will not finish the process since I have already installed in on two workstations.  In a recent Fusion 360 update, they introduced the new feature that controls the use of Fusion 360 between multiple workstations with the same account log-in.  If you could not install it on multiple workstations, this feature would not be offered.  I have used it, and it works as defined.  Look under Usability in this article.
