Can't close rendering window causing fusion to become inaccessible

I've run into this bug where I can't close this rendering settings window after clicking render. The buttons disappear and the only window I can interact with is the settings panel. It doesn't always happen but when it does it's very frustrating.

Hey am sure by now you must have solved your problem but am going to leave this here incase someone else has similar issue. The "close tab" when you click on render is usually unavailable when fusion is encountering a performance issue.

A Quick solution to this is to let fusion finish rendering if you have clicked render then click on the windows close button and it will ask you to save before terminating, restart fusion and continue your work from where you left off. Whenever fusion indicates its encountering a performance issue, before you click render save a version!

I have the same issue , if i keep rendering all day , this is a constant issue ! Any Idea how to sort this out?

I've had the same problem many times.  Happens a lot, especially with complex renders or when there are renders in the queue.  Sometimes it comes back if you wait long enough.

I'm getting this also - why they haven't just added a close button to the menu.... it's been a standard in all windows in Windows/Mac since 1985 for goodness sake!  

Not least as the buggy rendering means it's never completing the render, so I have to force close the whole app... bugs on top of bugs on top of poor UI design...!

Really frustrating!
