All of my files will not allow me to edit components. One day everything was normal. The next I can't move forward on any designs.

It is impossible to completely tell what you are doing with the two extrusions.  You simply are showing the dragging of a surface but the video does not show the Extrude dialog box so we can see your settings.  Please attach your model so we can take a look at it directly.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section of a forum post to attach it.

This just started happening. Before I could extrude any component and it would stay extruded.

We really need your MODEL so please attach it.  See the above post if you do not know how.  More videos will not help solve this issue.

when you extrude into the existing body, Fusion will default to "Cut".  You can change to another operation, if that is what you want to do

Your assembly has a lot of errors in the timeline which may be affection this component.  If you Save Copy As, on the one component, then it functions normally.  Since this is the main component, and the other are not joined yet, I would that this component and start a new assembly and add it to it to continue on.  If you want it, the isolated component I used is attached.
