Can Fusion 360 be updated via command line?

I work at a community college with several student labs.

These computers are frozen using a product called DeepFreeze that wipes the computer after every reboot.

The issue is that Fusion 360 updates but is not permanent because of DeepFreeze. So after reboot, Fusion 360 updates again.

At a certain day and time (12:30 am every Saturday), the computers unfreeze so that automated updates can be done. Currently, this updates

programs like Firefox, Chrome, etc. The updates are automated via command line so nobody has to be present to initiate the updates.

Does Fusion 360 have a way to initiate updates via command line? This would fix our problem.

Thank you.

There's a PDF in the below link that can help with this.

Please have a look and let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Thanks. I think that is on the right path but not quite what we need.

We use the per-user installer since it can update itself. Our lab computers have a single generic user, so all users actually use the same installed version of Fusion 360 even though we use the per-user installer.

Basically, what we are looking for is a way to make the per-user version update exactly like it does now but without the user having to open the program. Right now, the program does not update without the user opening the program. At 12:30 am when our computers update, nobody is present to open and login to the program.

So, is there a way to start the update process via command line so that we can use a scheduled task in Windows to tell the program to update?
