Cam setup default to metric

When I start a new cam setup, I have the inches set as the default, but Fusion always has millimeters instead.

Welcome to the Fusion 360 community!

The first thing to check is that your defaults units for the CAM workspace are set to Inches within your preferences, not just within a specific design. This is done by accessing your preferences by clicking your name in the upper right hand corner of Fusion and selecting Preferences from the drop down menu. The default units for both the CAM and model workspaces need to be set individually, so please confirm that CAM is set to Inches. This should make the CAM workspace default to Inches when creating a new file every time. See the image below and this forum post for more specifics.
