CAM - Chamfer Issues

It seems that there is a bug in the software that leads to an inability to select and deselect paths according to what the user wants vice what Fusion wants.

I have tried every feasible workaround using 2d Contour methods, and 2d Chamfer.  I have suppressed features as well.  This problem is not inherent to only one project.  It is across the board (otherwise I would attach problem files)

The paths that I am needing to take are very doing paths.  I am not asking Fusion to do anything crazy.  I am not the only one experiencing this issue.  I have asked others in the Tormach Operators forum on Facebook if they are experiencing the same issues and many are.  Is this a known issue with you guys?

Hi @MetalDawg

Thanks for posting! We do have some known issues with contour selection, but it is hard to say what issue you are experiencing. Would you mind clarifying what behavior you are referring to when selecting/deselecting paths? One way to do so could be to create a screencast illustrating the issue and commenting on the behavior you would expect.

One thing to consider is holding down the ALT key while selecting contours. This will default to an open contour selection instead of closed and may help you avoid some the the known issues that occur when a closed contour is initially selected.

I have shown and talked through some considerations about selecting contours in Fusion in the screencasts below - perhaps this will help! Please let me know if this does not address the behavior you are describing and I am happy to continue looking into this issue.
