Hi everyone,
I'm struggling with a cross-workspace import and could use some help. I am trying to import a BOM using an Excel sheet where the Parent items live in one workspace (Model Number MPN) and the Child items live in another (Items and BOM).
I can add these children to the BOM manually without any issues, so the relationship between the workspaces is definitely set up.
However, when I try to do a Bulk Import, the child items show up in pink with errors saying they "do not exist in workspace." It looks like Fusion is only looking inside the Parent workspace for the children.
I’ve looked for a way to tell the import tool to "Match in Workspace: Items and BOM," but I can't find that setting in the Edit Import screen.
Has anyone successfully mapped a BOM import where the children are in a different workspace? What am I missing in the mapping configuration?
