Buggy Render workspace

Hi,

render workspace is buggy.

- I can open only two images

- I cannot pan or rotate model

- Fusion sometimes uses .tif, sometimes .tiff while exporting.

- After a while I get white workspace, no model (check image below) and it does not recover - reopening file does not help, reopening file and changing workspace does not help too, only app restart helps.

- Sometimes environment resets from dark to light color style(not only if it crashes but if app gets "killed" via task manager)

Specs:

Windows 10 Pro x64

R7 260x 2GB - check below for driver info

16GB DDR4 3200MHz

Threadripper 1950X 3.6GHz

Samsung EVO 860 250GB

Fusion 2.0.14337

DirectX 9 driver(I've used DirectX 11, same problems). With OpenGL I have big problems in Design workspace.

Here's video

Here's another video where I'm trying to open device model. It seems Fusion cannot handle small assemblies....

Thanks!

@silvio3105

From a quick look, I have a feeling that render is going very slow rather than 'not loading'. It may have the same root issue as the file not opening - would you be able to share the problematic file?

Does render work as expected in a simple file, like a box?

Cheers,

Karina

I left it for 45-60mins and it did not move.
CPU and RAM usage was very low, almost zero.
Where I can send file(s)? File from video have links with other models(PCBs etc.). Do I need to export them too with main file?
Thanks.

Can you share e-mail so I can send download link for whole assembly?

Hi @silvio3105

You don't need to send any individual parts - if you export or share link from the main assembly they will all be included.

Either post it here or feel free to PM it to me if you'd rather keep it private.

So on my mac I am having no issues rendering your. model, no problems with the render environment either. I am suspicious that in your video your CPU usage is at 0%. You aren't having any problems with other applications?

Can you try the solutions in this article?

Additionally, can you screenshot this dialog and share it here?

  1. Go to the ? Menu at the top right of Fusion.
  2. Select 'Support and Diagnostics' >> 'Graphics Diagnostic'.

Cheers,

Karina
