Bug with carry-forward of parameterised hole size

If you have a parameter for hole size, say my_hole_size = 6.5mm, you can enter this in the dialog box when you create a hole.

When you create the next hole, Fusion 360 helpfully gives you a hole the same size as before. However, it has replaced the parameter name in the dialog box (my_hole_size) with the value of the parameter (6.5mm).

The problem with this is if you do not notice that this has happened. If you then change the parameter value, you will find the first holes you created adjust their size, but not any later ones.

Hi,

Is this a question or a recommendation?

In any case, it is not a bug!

I see your point, sort of. However, I cannot find any other action that remembers a value from the last time you used it. Chamfer, fillet, extrude etc. all start at zero, even if you have previously used a parameter for the value. If Hole is going to use the last value you entered as its default when you create a new Hole, I still think it should default to the parameter, if you used a parameter. To take as the default, the value but not the parameter, does not seem to have any benefits.

Is this behaviour in any other parts of Fusion? I have not been able to find it.
