Bug? Vanishing disclosure triangles on macOS

I'm going to try to attach a screencast here, but the issue is pretty well described in words: on macOS (perhaps not exclusively), hovering over the triangular twiddle-buttons in the object browser (that is, the hierarchical browser superimposed over the main view, the one that contains bodies, sketches, etc.) causes the triangles to disappear.

Functionality isn't affected; the triangles can still be operated normally. It has been this way for a long time for me, maybe a year?

I embed the html code. When you get the email that your screencast is ready, there is an embed buton. That allows you to copy the code to the clipboard.

Then you can click on the HTML button on your post and paste it there.

I've not experienced what you describe in terms of the triangles, but I've seen other users report this as well.
