[Bug] Text box stops selecting if mouse leaves textbox

Expected behavior:
If you click down on a text box. The text should select based on the horizontal position of the mouse. Regardless if the mouse leaves the textbox.

Actual behavior:
If you click down on a text box and move the mouse outside the text box. It stops selecting anything until you release the button and try again without the mouse leaving the bounds of the text box.
