When I update a model that is Derived within multiple manufacturing models in the same manufacturing workspace, Fusion only allows me to "Get Latest Version" for one of the manufacturing models. The remaining manufacturing models are stuck at the prior version of the derived component, with no way to update. Editing those models and trying to edit the Derive gives me the error message "Error: Failed to get link to Source document.".

This is reliably repeatable. I have to delete the old Derive from the timeline of all the remaining manufacturing models, and reinsert from scratch to bring in the update. And at the next update of the Derive source, everything breaks again.

@jonrbloom sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing. I tried reproducing the case but was unsuccessful. Is it possible for you to share a short video of the error? Also, if possible the data set?

I currently have around 20 models depending on this workflow - with exactly this issue. The annoying thing is there are 3 derived models in most cases - and its only the first one (which also happens to be the first action I take) that is doing this. The stupid thing is there is no workflow to "replace" / "relink" missing derived document. Just needs the doc ID relinking to fix this. So incredibly frustrating in professional paid for software, and this is as old as 2019. This is a basic workflow that should allow for componentisation of all your parts. Slow. Clunky. And Broken.
