Bug Report - using PASTE instead of typing in a number causes the operation to fail

I think this is similar to a bug I posted many months ago?

I'm on  a Mac.

Here's a demo video:

I've got my value "WallThick" in my paste buffer - if I paste it, the operation fails, but if I type the whole word in, it works.

This is a pretty serious problem - sometimes Iv'e got huge formulas in my paste buffer, and it's hard and dangerous re-typing them all.

your video is marked private, so I could not see it.  But, I was able to reproduce some kind of bug by pasting a user parameter name into the extrude distance for that command, and it doesn't work.  Other commands seem to work better.  The bug is FUS-74292

Hi Jeff, thanks!  And sorry about the video messup - screencast somehow let me post it without me selecting "public" (or anything), and I wasted an hour trying to make it public after that before giving up (the bug seemed easy enough to reproduce - thank goodness you managed without too much trouble!).
