Attempting to perform a thicken operation on a rectangular grid that looks like this:

Causes fusion 360 to use crazy amounts of memory and hang.

Repro steps
1. Create a sketch of a rectangle. (in my repro my rectange was 79.736 x 74.615

2. Create a grid of points inside the rectangle with the settings like so:

3. Fill the grid with lines to create a grid shape

4. Finish the sketch, and use the surface extrude to extrude 4mm

5. Attempting to use thicken on the resulting body results in a hang and massive memory usage as seen above.

Workaround:
Using the thicken command on the lines one at a time works no problem

Next time instead of using surfaces and the Thicken command, try patterning sketch lines and then use the Thin Extrude command.  You can use a selection window to pick all of the lines.  I think it will work better for you.
