BUG - Flat Pattern on Drawing not displaying properly

When trying to place a flat pattern of a model on a drawing, Fusion displays one of the sides of the model made flat rather than the actual flat pattern. Came in with last update. Can be worked around by changing view to any other side then returning to top when placing drawing on sheet.

Hi,

I have just tested the process and was able to place 2 different flat patterns (TOP - FRONT) from one design correctly (without workaround) on the same sheet.

This is a pretty common problem I have also, some flat patterns it will display the flat pattern correctly, some will display a side on view instead and I have to manually change it.

I've only seen this if the part has no bends in it and is flat to start with. I have reported the bug and although creating a sheetmetal part with no bends is a bit odd it is seen as a valid workflow and should get fixed at some point.

I managed to find a part that has this issue, it's been exported out of a larger assembly (which I can't share) so I hope that doesn't skew anything.

If you create a drawing from this part it will place the flat pattern on the "Front" orientation where "Top" or "Bottom" is the correct display orientation

Cheers
