Hi all,

I'm trying to get a horizontal dimension using midpoint/quadrant from point A to B but when i do the entire view port (drawing sheet) goes white. When i left/right click, the graphics gets displayed again but i lose the 2nd dimension point and have to start again.

matt832QP_1-1690417895965.png

Steps:

1. In drawings space, Press D for the dimension tool

2. Right click and select suitable dimension filter.

3. Place dimension at A

4. Right click in an attempt select dimension filter to place final dimension at B

5. drawing space goes white and stays white until i click, losing the dimension tool.

This seems to be intermittent. Sometimes it works first attempt, other times it can take >10 attempts.

Also perhaps worth noting, when moving/dragging an inserted .jpeg in the drawing space, it disappears. This has happened from day one for us too.

Things I've tried:

Re-installing device drivers.

Changing the display driver (In the F360 preferences) from Dx9, Dx11 and OPEN GL.

Disabling all post effects (Antialiasing, ambient occlusion etc).

Specs:

Winderp 10 Home

CPU: Intel i5-6600K @ 3.5GHz

Storage: SSD

GPU: nVIDIA Quadro K620 (536.67 Drivers, this happened before the recent driver update too)

Cheers,

Matt

Hi @MatthewNZ

I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble. Please can you share a DXDIAG of your setup? I think that you may have an onboard graphics card as well as a dedicated graphics card.

Hi Clint,

Please find the DXdiag attached.

Also, yes this PC does have onboard graphics but it's disabled at a driver level in device manager.

Cheers,

Matt

Hi @MatthewNZ

There are 2 things that I would suggest.

1) There is a slightly newer driver available for that graphics card, please double-check the detail here.

2) Take a look at this guide for setting up a dual graphics card. Windows has changed the way that the NVIDIA control panel works with App permissions.

Hi Clint,

I don't know why but this problem seems to have resolved itself. This morning everything is working as it should. No idea why as nothing has changed.

Could you please remove this post is it's no longer relevant.

Thanks,

Matt
