[BUG] Drawing attributes not populated for linked sheet metal components

Title kinda says it all.

When creating a drawing from a model that has linked sheet metal parts, attributes are not populated (part name, part number, etc.).  All we see is ####.  Conversely, the attributes for the folded model ARE populated.

However, internal sheet metal parts have attributes populated correctly.

Hi @gvisca44

Please send me a link to the dataset, I'll ask the team to take a look at it. Feel free to send it directly to me Clint. Brown {a} Autodesk.com

To keep track of whats happening with this - Audodesk can see the problem with folded models linked into other model and has logged the bug FDWG-16134 for tracking.

Hi @gvisca44 ,

This is strange. Please see attached video recorded on current Fusion build. This works fine for me.

Can you please share the recording and dataset to understand the issue?

Thanks,

@Pramod.kadam

I think the difference is:

* You're creating a single part drawing from "scratch".

* I'm creating a multi-part drawing from a template (which I've been using for some years).

I tried a single part drawing using my template (and choosing the flat pattern) - and the component properties were shown (refer first video - file name ends in 940).

I then tried the whole assembly - and on the linked components - properties were NOT shown.  But theyre ok on local components (refer second video - file name ends in 235).

Hi @gvisca44 ,

Thank you for your comment on Drawing Automation work.

You have asked this at right time, the fix for this problem is ready and going through validation. However you need to wait until May release considering the release cycles.

Thank you for your patience.
