Browser Glitch when Selecting Component

When I hover over a component in the browser, the box shifts left. When I go to select the lightbulb, it actually toggles the expand arrow. Some kind of glitch going on there. See screencast.

Hi @craigfoo,

Thanks for posting!

From your screencast, it looks like you have stumbled across the bug in Fusion where if a component has a name that is long enough to be truncated by having too narrow of a browser, the visibility light bulb jumps around and occasionally behaves unexpectedly. This is a known issue, logged as FUS-31602 for your reference. Good news though - it looks like the development team was able to track down what was causing this bug and are testing a fix right now that will be implemented in a future update!

For now, you can always toggle the visibility of a component by selecting the component in the browser tree and pressing the "V" key on your keyboard.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns - I am always happy to lend a hand!

Cheers,

Aha, good to know! Actually, when you mentioned "narrow browser" I expanded it just a bit and it fixed the issue. That'll do until the fix! Thanks!

Btw, where can I view FUS-31602? Is that public?

Hi @craigfoo,

I'm glad to hear that expanding the browser made the issue go away!

That ID is more for us here at Autodesk to use internally. Unfortunately, there is no way for those outside of Autodesk to view the tickets that track our issues. I had simply provided it for you to reference in the future when inquiring as to the status of the ticket.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns - I am always happy to lend a hand!

Cheers,

Mike Tessier
