Botched Automatic Update

Another Fine Mess Autodesk have gotten us into....Following tyhe latest automatic update I now can't launch Fusion and get the following error:

@alan.jonesXHXUF We are sorry for this experience. The below should help fix this problem.

1. Close Fusion
2. Go to add/remove programs
3. Select Fusion- Modify
This will launch Fusion service utility
4. Run the repair Fusion

This should address this problem.

It doesn't, it brings up the same error (along with other missing files with similar names). and exits. I've had to run a complete uninstall (which also brought up this error about 60% of the way through, but it at least completed otherwise) and start a fresh install again. Now I've got to reset all my preferences again.

@alan.jonesXHXUF Sorry to hear that the preferences had to be reset. This should certainly not be the experience. Can you pass on your log files if possible and there may be some indication on what happened to the preferences. 

in terms of the install itself are you now able to use Fusion?
