Hello,
i noticed the new BOM tool has problems ordering parts in a way any other .csv based tool would use.
Instead of adding a padding 0 infront of the digits and sorting correctly it sorts wrong.
Have a look at the grey box.
In my Excel based brain it would count R1,R3,R10,R11 and so on.
But instead it sorts the parts like this : R1, R10,R11 and then R3, R30,R36 etc.
And R7 and R9 come last, instead of before R10.
When using the old .ULP to export the BOM it works fine, sure.
But i think we should either change this back to the old way or at least have an option for padding.
I know pick and place machines do not care, but we are still assembling SMD by hand and make sure the boards are renumbered correctly.
