Blank DWG File

I downloaded an STL file off thingiverse.com, which Fusion360 opens and displays correctly.  However, when I export the project to a DWG file so I can edit it in AutoCAD, the DWG file is blank.

Forum security rules will not allow me to post the STL file, so I have posted the F3D file instead.  When I load it into Fusion360 and try to export it, the resulting DWG file is blank, too.

I got the same result as you, tried Export from within Fusion and using the online hub. Just on a hunch I thought I'd try adding a solid cylinder in Fusion, then the export worked! @jeff_strater  Any idea why this only works if there's some native geometry?

Imported into Rhino, one odd thing is the mesh is rotated 90° around the Y axis.

I am still having this issue time and time again with different STL files.  This apparently has been an issue for years.  When is AutoDesk going to get a round to actually fixing the problem?

Or, you change your workflow to incorporate other tools than AutoCAD.

What changes to you intend to make to an .stl file in AutoCAD that you cannot make in Fusion 360?
