Black screen after splash screen

Hi,

I'm using Fusion 360 for about 2 years on and off.

after about 1 year I experienced that Fusion would not startup again, I got a black screen after the splash screen was gone.

This happened suddenly from 1 day to another, I was able to solve this problem by changing the compatibility mode to Windows Vista (I'm using windows 7) and it worked good for some time.

yesterday I wanted to start Fusion again, and all I got was the famous black screen, I was still in compatibility mode,

I tried to remove Fusion with Fusion 360 Cleaner and reinstall it again, tried several compatibility modes again but this time the screen stays black.

I did several searches on google and here on the Forum, but there does not seem to be a suitable solution.

Can you help me ?, I'm glad to provide you with more info as you need it.

I finally solved this problem, (at least for now)

I booted to save mode with network support, started Fusion 360 (knowing that would work, as I tried it before)

once in fusion I set the graphic driver from Auto select to DirectX 11 (as I use windows 7), and that solved my problem.

You can find this setting by right-clicking on your name (right topside) en select Preferences you are directly in the tab GENERAL, in the right screen you can find graphic driver
