Best alternative for iPad

I am Gaylord. I contract teach F 360. I’m looking for an iPad alternative for Fusion 360. I moved on my boat and had to give up iMac. I would rather not pay for MacBook Pro. Thank you in advance

There is no mobile application that can do what the desktop Fusion 360 program can do. The app for iOS is a viewer and not able to model.

That depends on what you mean with inexpensive 😉

I am writing this on a 2017 Macbook Pro 15" with 16GB of memory and Radeon Pro 560 4096 MB graphics.

If you split the current list price for that machine in half you'll get a pretty  decent Windows machine to run Fusion 360 on. However, I would definitely not go under $1000 for a Windows laptop.

You make a good point. Memory and graphics cards make all the difference. I will perhaps look for a certified reconditioned machine. Thank you for the follow up. Much appreciated.

Onshape and Shapr3D

Onshape is the closest thing you will get to fusion360 on ipad. I've used both Onshape and Shapr3D to create stuff I have 3D printet. So I would check them out.

Now that ipad pro 3rd gen is out though I would really love to see a full blown Fusion 360 app for this.
