Hi,

how should it be bent?

horizontal, vertical, diagonal; at which position > which radius > which angle

You can bend it by joining a sheet metal body to the body to be bent and then refold.

So the bend is an organic form.

Hi,

If you want a curved object, go to the SHEET METAL section and create a flange on your spline curve.
Extend this flange slightly with the extrusion tool to get an "flat“ base area for unfolding.
Select „unfold“ tool and mark this sector to unfold the sheet metal body. Then it can be processed and refolded.
Please show pictures of a real existing object, so you know what it is about.

Dear Gunther,

So i have drawn a bracelet  flat and now i want to bend it.

If i understand you right i need first to "bend it" then  "unbend it" then draw my pattern.

When you write  pictures do you mean pictures of  the actual object?

I mean a real existing object close to what you want to achieve.

Hi,

Here´s another model.

The lengths of the parts were coordinated and patterns were added.
However, this leads to a considerable amount of work (time) for the calculation when bending back because of the number of faces.
