How to do...

Simple shape - a funnel with a 'tulip flare' end following an 'S' shaped center-spline.

Then maybe...

My goal, a corrugated pipe with several bends.

An axis that isn't a straight line would seem to be most straight-forward.

Otherwise, a revolved thing that gets bent to a spline-path?

Or, would it be a sweep of a tubular profile (two concentric circles) that alter diameter (according to a distance-diameter graph?) as it follows a curvy spline/path?

Something else?
