AutoDesk updates are causing issues on student accounts

My students also work from home on the Fusion assignments. The problem is when Fusion updates (which happens pretty often) students can't access their work when coming back to school. We need an administrator to log into every machine and update the software as for security reasons, students can't download or upgrade any software from their accounts. This process usually takes weeks which about the same time Fusion gets another update and then we are back to where we started. I there a way for Fusion to keep a file to its original version till the project is complete?
