Attempting to split the 'Leg' from the base of the design

The base and the leg are formed as one body which I didn't intend to do. I want to split the body into just the base and the leg so that I can use a circular pattern to add more legs to the base evenly. Not sure how to do that, thanks in advance!

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

I am guessing Edit Feature >New Body.

Offset surface (in Timeline) and Split would also work.

It is a very simple task to make two bodies from your model.  Go back and edit the last extrusion you did and change the Operation to New Body instead of Join.  I also show you how to export your model as an .F3D file which is preferred by the forum users.  Mode is attached as an F3D file.
