How to apply hatching if it not generated automatically?

I am trying to cut the section at the center, but the hatching is not generated, If I move the position of section line away from center then hatching is generated.

I tried to check the section view in 3D, the body is fully solid and there is no sheet body  at center. section.gif

I am attaching the file, please find is there any error in my file.

This appears to be imported geometry.

Did you run Validate?

I checked the body in Autodesk Inventor Professional - and this is what I found...

@TheCADWhisperer

Thanks for the response,

I downloaded the file what you uploaded (Whisper - Repaired Body.f3d) opened it and moved to the drawing workspace and again having the same issue with hatching.

Is there any alternate geometry checking method in Fusion 360.

Can you request a file with history?

Show the source the obvious geometry issue that I found.

With something so obvious not noticed - I suspect that there are other issues.

Can you remodel the geometry from scratch?
