Any progress on repairing the joint limits icons?

When I try to set joint limits by mousing the object to move (using the blue "handles"), they don't work well, some not at all. Someone said the problem was being looked at. I can't imagine AutoDesk software engineers not being able to fix this in about ten minutes. That makes me suspect it's my PC. Any thoughts on the matter?
