Another Stuck upload issue

Since yesterday my Fusion 360 refuses to upload files.

It just spins and spins forever:

and the job status window also does not progress any further:

riaanmarx_2-1684087413921.png

and when I try to open the design from the project in the Data tab, there is an exclamation mark

riaanmarx_1-1684087195227.png

and a message "the file is not available at the moment" for existing files. New files like the savetest I did above does not show at all, not even when viewing the projects on the web through a browser.

I have tried many of the solutions on the web:

Clearing cache

Manually clearing the queue

Created new project and new minimal design and tried to save

I even tried to repair, and ultimately uninstalled, deleted residual files and reinstalled Fusion 360.

I tried to collect diagnostic logs using the Help (?) button, but that produced this error:

Any help will be appreciated.

Kind regards,

Riaan

@riaan.marx Thank you for the logs. It certainly helped to understand what are some of the problems going on.

1. Please signout of Fusion/ Close Fusion / launch and sign in again
2. Test the save workflow now

We made a small change to the backend that this should now work for you. The certificate error that you are receiving is from the logs either from your network or from your proxy. Do you have a proxy set on your machine? it could be related that the proxy or this network is adding to the Fusion stuck issues.

Apologies - I have been occupied with other issues.

I will get back to you regarding the save issue, but on the proxy I don't have a proxy server. I connect to the internet using a 4G mobile connection. And I am not seeing SSL certificate issues on any other sites. But I let me test and see if the save issue is resolved at least.

@RajkumarIlanchelian, I have saved a few different projects and it seems to be behaving.

Thank you very much for whatever change was implemented.

Kind regards,

Riaan

I have exactly the same problem. There are 17 jobs in the queue. Logout, login and clean cache doesnt help.

@regRS43S Can you please do a couple of things for us?

1. Go to Help - Support and diagnostics - Get diagnostic log files
2. This will generate a zip . Can you please attach the zip files here?

Also, we have made one small change in the backend for your account. Can you please restart Fusion 360 and see if there are no more files stuck in the upload queue?

@regRS43S Thanks for the log files. After taking a look at this some questions and some suggestions.

1. It appears that 2 files that are stuck are causing a lot of these problems. *2023.* are the files involved. Are you making copies for a master design file in this case and they are getting stuck?

Suggestions:

1. Close Fusion 360
2. Go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\UNIQUE ID\P.login\DELETE jobs.json

3. Go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\UNIQUE ID\W.login\DELETE folder Q
4. Go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\UNIQUE ID\W.login\DELETE UploadQueuedFileList.xml

5. Now start Fusion 360

is the queue clear? If it is create a simple model and save it. Does it get stuck or gets uploaded?

@RajkumarIlanchelian Your suggestion partially helps. The queue is empty now and a simple new design doesn't stuck. But any changes on the design I working on(Obdet2023) still can not be uploaded. The rollback to the last known version or saving this as a new design also doesn't work.

@regRS43S Would it be possible to share this design with me? You can share the link here with a password protected and send the password to me in a DM or you can email me at raj.kumar.ilanchelian@autodesk.com as well.

Hello, I am also having the same problem! My files get stuck on the "cannot close until jobs in progress complete fusion 360" screen. There are already 23 files stucked. I tried restarting the login, reinstalling the program and several other things and the error still persists. What can you do for me?

Here are my log files 🙂

After 12.00 european time fusion delayed the upload of files indefinitely stating that it tried to upload files from e.g. 10.00 am. I changed the time from 24 hrs system to the American AM/PM system and the problem was solved.
