When dimensioning a 3 point arc to projected curve and selecting tangent to arc, the 3 point arc does not actually get dimensioned. If a construction line is added, then the dimension will work.

I cant see any problem by deleting the construction line.
For a 3-point arc we need to constrain by specifying a Diameter or length.
If i have misunderstood the problem, please create a screencast/video to explain the issue.
@dsouzasujay The problem is the indicated size of 0.5 is not the same as the size if you edit the dimension and the distance between the arcs is not 0.5. If you add a construction line the dimension between the arc works correctly, see screen cast.
